Art in the Digital Era
Mission: To explore how artworks can be presented and experienced through interactive digital environments.
Art Stylus organises virtual exhibitions presenting contemporary art with a research focus. Our interest lies both in the artwork and in its interaction with audiences and algorithms. Collaborations are developed on the basis of shared conceptual and experimental interests.
Selected Solo Exhibitions
(experimental and research-oriented projects)
When an artist or an institution holds a coherent body of work or a distinct collection,
we develop a comprehensive virtual exhibition. This format allows for a focused and in-depth presentation,
highlighting the conceptual framework and the specificity of the artistic practice.
Art Stylus works with galleries, museums, libraries, educational institutions and individual artists to collaboratively develop virtual spaces for experimental exhibitions.
Representatives of memory institutions select the works to be presented within a professionally designed digital environment.
● Exhibition duration: by agreement
● What is included: a virtual gallery, descriptions of the artworks, a basic exhibition catalogue, and links to the artist’s or gallery’s own website, enabling independent management of enquiries.
Each project includes the selection and analysis of metadata and is developed with consideration for long-term digital preservation.
● Participation conditions: discussed individually, depending on the project.
Curated Group Exhibitions
(experimental and research-oriented projects)
We present works by multiple artists within a shared thematic framework. Curated group exhibitions may focus on historical artefacts or bring together contemporary experimental practitioners from different fields.
Art Stylus offers galleries and artists the opportunity to participate in thematic virtual group exhibitions. Participants present a selected number of works, which are displayed within a professionally designed digital environment.
● Exhibition duration: depending on the project
● What it includes: a virtual gallery, descriptions of the artworks, participation in a shared exhibition catalogue,
and links to the artist’s personal website. Each project includes the selection and analysis of metadata
and is developed with consideration for long-term digital preservation.
● Participation conditions: discussed further, depending on the project.
