Research Exhibitions and New Art Scene
Art as Research and Dialogue Through the Seasons
At Art Stylus we connect museum heritage with contemporary creativity. We seek collections from the past that come alive in a digital context, while also presenting new artistic forms.
We approach each project as a way to understand how artistic ideas shift across time, context, and interpretation.
In the Research Scene we showcase a 16th-century manuscript attributed to the Master of Queen Claude, preserved in the MET Collection, whose botanical miniatures recall some of the earliest artistic catalogues.
In the New Art Scene we present a virtual research project "Stillness after Matisse", a study of stillness, rhythm and presence around figures in interior spaces in the work of Henri Matisse,
translated into a contemporary visual context through conceptual interpretation and digital experimentation.
The project is presented by Tanya Mitkova. She combines archival references, conceptual research and digital image-making practices.
Explore the exhibitions in each category and join the dialogue between the past and contemporary forms of presentation.
