Introduction: The project explores the possibility of translating certain states of rest and presence in Matisse’s painting into a contemporary context. Through a series of visual interpretations, it examines the relationships between interior, figure and a slower rhythm of life, developed around female figures within interior spaces.
The series is based on prior observation and authorial work, developed through digital tools and further interpretation.
